I hope everyone had a great long weekend! We spent lots of time with friends and family enjoying good food and great company.

Saturday was a mixed bag of weather in the Toronto area so I was able to pull off this long-sleeve yet light floral dress from Zaful, which was just perfect for the day. I don’t usually wear a lot of purple, but the neutral pattern on this boho style dress kept it pretty low key and easy to match up with light accessories. I’m not really a festival type of gal, but if I were this is exactly the style of dress I would be wearing for laid back, outdoor summer concerts.

The dress is totally transparent so I layered it on top of a tank dress for my own comfort and peace of mind. Although the sleeves are a bit long, the drawstring tie at the wrist kept the arms where they should be and it didn’t end up posing any problem whatsoever. The length on this size Small dress was exactly where I wanted it to be around the knee, but keep in mind I am 4’11”, so on the average person this dress would be much shorter. Overall a pretty summer dress that will transition perfectly into pre-Fall.
