Last weekend our family attended a wedding, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful day! The sun was shining, the festivities were second to none, and the kids had a blast with all of their cousins.

This was the gown that I wore to the reception and there are so many things I love about it that I really don’t know where to begin. The colour, the cut, and the fit pretty much speak to everything I love about a formal dress. One of my usual pet peeves about an off the shoulder dress is that it tends to ride up on me and I always end up shuffling around to keep it in place. But this dress stayed perfectly where it should have thanks to extra elastics around the shoulders that anchored it and kept it from moving even an inch.

I kept accessories to a minimum since the dress spoke volumes all on its own, and my new Classic Petite Bondi watch from Daniel Wellington was all I needed to dress up my arms.
