ELEGANTLY NURSING
Dress: c/o PinkBlush l Diaper Bag: Barrington Gifts l Bracelet: Betsey Johnson (old, similar here) l Necklace: Forever21
Any nursing mother knows that wearing a dress can pose significant problems in the feeding department. Unless the dress has buttons, trying to feed your baby while wearing a maxi dress requires the entire garment to be taken off which is usually impossible depending on the circumstances and is extremely awkward. I’ve found myself in this position more than once and let me tell you – it’s not pretty.
When PinkBlush Maternity told me about their line-up of nursing dresses, I was curious. When I started looking through their website, I was pleasantly surprised by the options available. This black draped maxi dress is cinched at the bust, has a tie at the back, and has an inner layer of lining. I almost always wear a size XXS – XS, but here I am wearing a size S and it fits perfectly. The fabric is stretchy so it is very accommodating. Perfect for moms and moms-to-be, this maternity/nursing maxi dress has a deep v-neckline, which allows for nursing after pregnancy. Not only is it functional, it’s elegant and sophisticated, and can be easily worn during the day or taken out at night.
If you liked this dress, wait until you see another bold patterned nursing dress on the blog next week – it’s stunning! Also, next week I will be hosting a giveaway for a Gift Card to PinkBlush (their maternity and regular collections). Be sure to visit the blog again on Monday September 14, 2015 to see how to enter.
