For someone who takes pictures on the daily, I was shocked to realize that we haven’t taken family photos in like EVER! I came to this realization when my 4-year old came home from his first week of Kindergarten and asked me for a family picture to bring into school, and I had to scrounge through the blog to find one with all four of us in it. There are certainly no shortage of shots of the kids individually, or even with me and the kids, but to find one that included all of us was no easy task!

So when the lovely Clara from Peony Photography contacted me about doing a Fall mini session, I jumped at the opportunity and couldn’t wait to finally get some professional shots of our little family. We met Clara and Jaime in a park close to our home and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day. The sun was shining, the air was warm, and who wouldn’t want to have some fun in all these leaves! They were such a lovely and professional couple to work with and they truly brought out the best in us – as these photos show!
