I was blown away by the nostalgic cuteness of the gapKids + Peanuts™ collaboration when I first previewed the collection a few months ago, and knew my own little peanuts needed to get into a few of these items. On October 19th, gapKids released an exclusive, limited-edition clothing collection featuring the iconic Peanuts™ brand. This playful and exciting ready to wear line, along with accessories, is available for newborns, toddlers, boys and girls.

I was so excited to receive a few items from the collection for my little ones to try out, that we rounded up ‘the gang’ (of two) for the first photoshoot with my 2 1/2 year old. I wasn’t sure how this was going to go as he has trouble staying still for any length of time, and to get him to pose for a picture is nearly impossible. However, I’m happy to report that he was absolutely amazing and we got some really good ones that I think reflect the brand well and show his personality to a T.

The minute I put the t-shirt and hoodie on him he was instantly drawn to the comic sketches and kept pointing out all the different things he was seeing. Even though he doesn’t know who Charlie Brown, Lucy or any of the other characters are, the colourful design of the vintage comic strip had him totally enamored. He also couldn’t get enough of the little hand-drawn sketch (specific to the newborn section and exclusive to Gap) of Snoopy on his sisters onesie, possibly pointing out to me that she really should have been wearing the “cranky” one instead of “happy” today. Nonetheless – we did manage to get one little smile out of her during the shoot!
