This is my ‘pulled together mom’ look that I aspire to everyday, however don’t be fooled – most days running errands with the kids don’t tend to look this good. But it’s ok to have an ideal to strive for, right?
Last week the kids and I had the special treat of taking part in the GEOX Kids Shop The Store Event. We had so much fun trying on shoes at the Yorkdale location and I can’t wait to share more about the event and what we picked out for them on the blog next week. Today though, I’m sharing my pick from the GEOX store and how they totally inspired this chic and sophisticated casual look.
I love how today’s Style post is classy and sophisticated, yet extremely comfortable at the same time. While anyone can throw on a pair of flip flops for running around town, a stylish pair of sneakers can amp up your look and take you from groceries and errands, to ‘ladies who lunch’.
These GEOX Eleni sneakers with their breathable, perforated sole have been on major repeat these days, taking me pretty much everywhere I have to go. I’ve never worn a wedge-sneaker before (and must admit I used be a bit averse to the idea), but have to say I’m seriously in love with this pair – not to mention the off-white and gold colour which is just so elegant. Especially for petite gals like me, you can never go wrong with a little height. Then combine that with GEOX’s patented technology that allows for natural temperature regulation within the shoe keeping your feet dry all day long – I’m sold!
If you’re wondering about the size I’m wearing (since you all know I wear a Size 4 shoe), these are actually a 5 and I do have an insole inside. Unfortunately, this style doesn’t come in smaller sizing, but the insole together with the lace-up style (great for small feet) have got my feet feeling nice and snug and fitting great.
So now that I’m all dressed up, who wants to do lunch?
