Nothing says vaca style quite like a look from Lilly Pulitzer – and when you’re traveling with your little one, matching Lilly looks are a definite must! So before heading on our family trip to Jamaica last week, I stopped into Island View – our local Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store in downtown Oakville to pick out the perfect mommy-and-me looks for twinning with my girlie!
They had just received a shipment of stunning new pieces, and I couldn’t have been more excited to find our matching outfits. To be honest, I haven’t done a whole lot of twinning with my mini-me, but after styling these dresses (and receiving a ton of sweet compliments) this definitely needs to be our new thing! We even matched our bags, which are just the cutest beach to dinner bags and a must-have for vacation!
After trying on so many beautiful dresses (seriously I had the hardest time deciding which one to go with), I finally chose the gorgeous Rosalia Silk Dress and the matching Sophie Ruffle Dress for Gemma. Her dress is UPF 50+ which means in addition to being as cute as humanly possible, it offers sun protection and shields her skin from its damaging rays – perfect for all the vacation fun in the sun we had. And can we talk about the sleeves on the Rosalia dress – I mean, could they be any more stunning?
If you’re looking for the perfect mommy-and-me looks for your next vacation, be sure to check out Island View (181 Lakeshore Road East, Oakville) for all your Lilly Pulitzer needs – and YES every mama needs some Lilly in her life!
PETITE FIT NOTES:
– Lilly Pulitzer clothes start at Size 00 and fit like a Petite 0. The only difference is that the length of the dresses are suppose to be a lot shorter, but become knee-length on us shorter gals – but no problem for me!
*Thank you ‘Island View A Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store’ for partnering on this post. All opinions are my own.
