For the past four days I’ve been in NYC for New York Fashion Week and let me tell you there is no such thing as packing light for this kind of trip. In addition to all the clothes I packed, there were many other essentials I couldn’t have lived without over the weekend. I’ve rounded them up above.

For the flight and late night photo editing, a good pair of earphones helped calm the nerves and allowed me avoid disturbing my roomies. I’m obsessed with this super light-weight, wireless pair from Sudio Sweden that are sleek, comfortable, and last for eight hours of wireless freedom – one less wire is always good in my books. The sound quality of the Vasa Blå model is outstanding and the built-in microphone came in very handy for daily calls home to my babies!

A few other weekend favorites were these gold-toe flats and this perfect striped tank that transitioned easily from day to night (multiple times). Packing definitely isn’t my favorite thing to do, but when the essentials you pack make your trip that much easier – I’d pack them all over again in a heartbeat!
