For the last few weeks I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect trench coat. Since I should have started my search a couple months ago, it’s been way more challenging than I expected to find just the right one in my size. I usually wear size Petite 00 and it’s been practically impossible to find this size in stock at any store, however, online there are definitely more options.

If you don’t want to make a trip to your tailor (which can get pricey very quickly), it’s really important for petite girls to buy coats that have been designed for their specific body type. Arms that are the right length, waists that are in the right location, and hemlines that actually make sense, are just some of the benefits of buying “petite”. While I’ve gotten it wrong many times over in the past, this year I’m determined to do it right and get a coat that actually fits me.
