Channeling my inner hipster today in these distressed white jeans, classic sunnies, and the prettiest pink VANS. While I’m just loving this look for it’s relaxed, effortless vibe, “relaxed” is a word I rarely use to describe my style so it’s kind of a breath of fresh air for me.

I kept the look edgy yet super feminine with little details such as the white lace top peeking out, and the fact that these leather Sk8-Hi VANS from Union Jack Boots are actually pink. The official name is Whispering Pink and they are the loveliest shade of pastel, making them the perfect girly high-top. While I usually find that flat sneakers make me feel extra short (like I really need that at 4’11”), the slim design of this classic style elongates the leg and keeps it very feminine. If you’re vertically challenged like myself, try pairing this seasons cropped and frayed-edge “it” jean with your hi-tops, or by rolling up your denim to show off just a little bit of ankle.

Ever since I put this outfit on, I’ve been planning in my mind where this look is going to take me this summer….maybe a concert, maybe an outdoor market, or maybe…Brooklyn? Yes to all of the above!
