POWDER ROOM REVEAL
As promised, I’m happy to share another beautiful space from our townhouse with all of you – the powder room!
When we first moved into the home, I didn’t know what to do with this little space. I didn’t like the floor tile, the fixtures were basic, and the walls slightly uneven. Although I proded my husband to see if we could improve some of these items, the answer was no (lol), so I needed another solution to make this room feel a bit more inviting.
I’ve always loved wallpaper, but haven’t used it since we lived in a condo in Toronto. So with not being able to change any of the other major elements in this room – I instantly knew that wallpaper would be the solution – and that it was!
After lots of research for the perfect pattern that would make this room feel bigger and brighter, I found the most gorgeous paper from Wallpaperdirect. They have such an amazing selection of prints that I am obsessed with, but the Layla Faye Daisy Chain Large Pattern in Grey Midnight Blue took the cake. It was love at first sight and I knew this was the one for us!
One day I would love to learn how to install wallpaper, but for now I’ll leave it to the professionals – so David from Doctor Decor Wallpaper was just the guy for the project! He did such an amazing job on the installation and I couldn’t have been happier with the way that it turned out!
It’s remarkable how wallpaper alone can turn a boring and basic powder room into something extraordinary with a serious WOW factor! And extra details like fresh flowers, a few favorite hand products, and the most delicious scented diffuser from Nest Fragrances really finishes it off and makes it super cozy! Now what other rooms should I tackle?
