Fall is the ultimate fashion season and nothing wards off the end-of-summer blues like the textures, rich tones and layers of fall fashion.

Florals are one of the hottest trends this year and I can’t seem to get enough of them into my wardrobe! So when I had the opportunity to check out what’s new from George at Walmart Canada, I was thrilled to find stylish and trendy floral pieces that I’m really excited about!

George has an extensive selection of floral tops in the hottest hues of the season like merlot, burgundy and emerald green. I love this George Sleeveless Peasant Blouse ($14.97) with its petite floral print because it’s perfect for incorporating the trend into a pre-fall wardrobe, and yet can still be elegantly layered under cardigans and jackets without any bulk.

Often I have a hard time finding tops that fit just right, so I was so pleased to find that George apparel has an extensive range of sizing that will fit any body type (including us petite gals)! I’m wearing this top in XS and the dreaded baggy underarms is non-existent – yay! Not only are these fall pieces fashionable and right on trend, George apparel is affordable which means you can look great and feel confident without breaking the bank.

And I cannot say enough about this cozy George Boucle Cardigan ($27.97) I need to have in every colour that it comes in! It’s soft, fuzzy, and is pretty much just like your favourite blanket that you want to cuddle up in. The quality is amazing and that will serve me well with all the wear it’s going to get this season! I’m loving this piece styled with scrunched up sleeves and paired with some frayed-edge denim, like this DIY version I made from a pair of George Girls’ Skinny jeans ($11.97)! If wearing the same pair of jeans more than three times in one week is a crime – then take me in because I just cannot stop wearing this perfectly fitting pair. George offers another similar style in women’s sizes, George Women’s Jegging ($19.97).

Whenever I get compliments on an outfit that I’m wearing, I love being able to reveal the amazing deal that I found or the totally unexpected retailer that the pieces were scored at.
