Ever since my Vegan days I have always tried my best to maintain a natural beauty regime. This means natural face and skin-care products only, avoiding toxic chemical ingredients such as parabens, petrolatum, BHA and more. I make my own deoderant in the kitchen, moisturize my face with coconut oil, and use only natural body lotions and creams. Although I can’t say that I go 100% natural with all skincare (makeup is a tough one), I do make a concerted effort to keep my body’s largest organ free from toxins.
In comes joeSCRUB. I was so excited to be able to try this all-natural, organic coffee exfoliant and it couldn’t have come at a better time. At the very end of my pregnancy now my skin is dry, somewhat oily and starting to show wear after nine months of significant physical changes. Unlike most skincare products that contain harsh chemicals such as parabens, synthetic colors, unnatural fragrances and formaldehyde, joeSCRUB is cruelty-free and composed of 100% natural ingredients with many skin and health benefits.
I used the coffee scrub on my face and entire body and was very happy with the results. With only eight ingredients (the less the better), the results I experienced were increased blood circulation (nice and rosy cheeks), soft, hydrated skin, and a fresh renewed glow. After getting out of the shower I finished off my treatment by moisturizing with my go-to coconut oil. Yes, this is the same coconut oil you cook with, I just keep a small glass jar of it upstairs in my bathroom for daily use.
Having skipped the exfoliation process all too often in the past, joeSCRUB has renewed my determination to keep up with getting rid of dead skin regularly. I definitely plan on continuing to use the product after baby is born to keep my skin looking youthful and refreshed, making up for the long nights ahead.

I use regular grinds at home to exfoliate once or twice a week – I have really oily skin. I’m curious about this one as there are other ingredients. I’m going to look into it.
ps – love the bracelet!
It does have some oils in it but I found my skin was just so soft after and felt moisturized – not oily. Give it a try! :)
How much coconut oil do you use on your skin? Do you use anything else after The coconut oil? What do you use for the eye area?
Maybe about a dime size for the face. I use it morning and night as my moisturizer. I don’t use eye cream….maybe I should
