Deciding what to wear to a presentation at NYFW was one tough decision. I knew I wanted to stay close to the brand’s image, yet throw in my own personal twist at the same time. So while I had packed a completely different look for the J.Crew show, the weather (heat wave), comfort, and the rest of day’s agenda threw me for a loop and I opted for a last minute purchase from the brand the day before. I’m so happy I went with this striped dress because it was comfortable and cool and totally easy to wear for other plans after the show.

One item that did remain intact from my original look were these gold sparkly heels from Pretty Small Shoes. When deciding on my shoes for Fashion Week, I was instantly drawn to this pair for their glitter, stacked heel, and overall WOW factor. And of course the pop of colour instantly made me think of J.Crew!
